Chef Jan & Shannon helped me host a Bridal Shower interactive dinner cooking party in September, 2007. It was a great evening! The food was tasty, we learned some interesting things and most importantly everyone laughed the entire evening. One of the best parts was when we looked up from our dessert to see that everything was completely cleaned up and packed away - no mess to clean up after the party, how often does that happen!

I would recommend Jan for such events in the future, it was a special treat and everyone raved about what a great time and great idea it was.

Today's lunch was well beyond our expectations, the menu you planned was delicious and palette pleasing. Calling Orchard House Gourmet was one of the best decisions we have made for our Mother's Birthday. The soup, butternut squash with star anise & gingered shrimp was decadent. The winter salad, compliments of the chef was a delightful surprise and very tasty as well. The entree, medallion of chicken breast stuffed with herbed ricotta & spinach served with a white wine sauce accompanied by a potato, zucchini & sweet potato strata finished off with a roasted asparagus was definitely 5 star quality. The finishing touch a lemon-blackberry pudding cake served with cassis-mascarpone cheese & fresh fruit was heavenly. The meal service was beyond reproach and you left the kitchen "as though nothing had happened" those were Muriel's words when we called her after we arrived home. Should the occasion ever arise again, and it will, you are number one on the list of chefs to call. We are recommending you to all our friends and family and wish you all the best.
